Update KJ Den Haag #7: the highest point is in sight

The highest point is in sight!
At the Park Tower, we recently poured the 25th floor slab. That means we’re already reaching nearly 80 meters in height! At the Station Tower, we’re currently working on the 20th floor. As planned, it’s progressing slightly behind the Park Tower. Now that both towers are at their slimmest, the valley’s design really comes into its own. The stepped roof terraces are one of the characteristic elements of the design.
The facade is mostly closed
After the facade of the Park Tower was half closed in January, the lower levels of the Station Tower have now also been enclosed. The entire building is now wind- and watertight up to the 12th floor. Part of the facade was installed at night. Fortunately, this caused minimal disturbance in the surrounding area. Around the summer construction break, we will install a few more layers at night for safety reasons.
Interior finishing is in full swing
In the Park Tower, interior walls have been installed up to the 10th floor. Underfloor heating has also been laid on the 7th floor. The first bathrooms have been tiled on the 5th floor. In the Station Tower, interior finishing began a few weeks ago. The first screed floors are being laid on floors 1, 2, and 3.
City entrance gets attention
Upon completion, the wooden ceiling beneath the building will be the absolute eye-catcher. But there’s still a lot to be done before we get there. The sprinkler tank is nearly finished, after which the façades of the commercial spaces can be installed. Installation work is also set to begin there in mid-June. After the summer holidays, the first section of the wooden ceiling will become visible.
At the same time, the shops on the ground floor of Stichthage are getting a new facade. This is being done piece by piece to minimize disruption.
Our working hours are typically from 07.00 to 16.00 hrs
According to the building permits, we are allowed to work from Monday to Saturday between 07.00 and 19.00 hrs. In practice, this is usually from Monday to Friday from 07.00 to 16.00 hrs. Occasionally, we may need to work outside of the permitted hours. In such cases, we always coordinate with the municipality and inform you in advance.
