Update KJ Den Haag #10: Façade increasingly visible and relocation of bicycle parking entrance
Second highest point reached
In early October, we celebrated reaching the highest point of the Station Tower. With the placement of the final steel structure, we reached a height of nearly 93 meters! This milestone did not go unnoticed by the local media—we were featured in the news on Omroep West on September 23, 2025 (visible from 03:53).
With this, we officially conclude the structural phase of the project. As a result, the first tower crane will be removed from the construction site by the end of this year.
The façade is looking better and better
The façade of the Park Tower is nearly complete. In recent weeks, the distinctive fluted elements have been installed. Almost all balconies have also been hung, giving a clear impression of what the building will look like. Curious about how we install our façade elements? → Click here ←

Entrance to the bicycle parking relocated again
KJ is being built against the Stichthage building. Therefore, the station building will also receive a new façade on its lower two levels. One shop at a time, we are replacing the existing façade with the new one. We’ve now completed about 60% of this work. In November, we’ll begin the final phase, at the current entrance to the bicycle parking (next to Bloem). As a result, the entrance will be moved back to Bezuidenhoutseweg. This ensures the work can continue while keeping the bicycle parking safely accessible.
City entrance gets attention
Upon completion, the wooden ceiling beneath the building will be a true eye-catcher. But there’s still a lot to be done before that. Under the Station Tower, most of the shopfronts have been installed. The installations are nearly complete. This allowed Intos to begin work on the ceiling in early September. What you can see now is that a large part of the (black) supporting structure has been hung. Very soon, they will begin installing the first slats.
